Restec GRP fibreglass flat roofs
A flat roof only needs one weak seam to start leaking. GRP fibreglass is laid as a single, seamless layer, which is why it’s our go-to system for replacing tired felt roofs on extensions, garages, dormers and balconies.
We strip the old covering, check and replace the deck where needed, then lay the Restec GRP system with properly formed edges and trims so water drains off the roof and into the gutter.
What’s included
- Free inspection, with a drone roof survey where suitable
- Removal of the old roof covering
- Deck replacement where the boards are soft or rotten
- New Restec GRP fibreglass roof with edge trims
- A fixed written price before any work starts
- A 10-year written workmanship guarantee

“I recently had my gutters replaced and I couldn't be happier with the service. From start to finish, the team was professional, punctual and extremely friendly. Josh explained everything clearly, worked efficiently and even completed a couple of small tiling jobs as the team were on the roof. They were very considerate during the works and left the area spotless after the job was done. The quality of the work was excellent, it's rare to find a company that delivers both great workmanship and a genuinely reliable service.”

Common questions about grp flat roofing (restec)
What is GRP fibreglass roofing?
GRP (glass reinforced plastic) is laid as one continuous layer over a new deck, so there are no seams or joints for water to get through. It cures to a hard, smart finish.
Why do you use the Restec system?
Restec is a GRP fibreglass flat roofing system we install on our flat roof jobs. Ask us at the survey and we'll talk you through the build-up for your roof.
Can you replace the deck as well as the covering?
Yes. If the existing boards are soft or rotten we replace the deck before laying the new roof, and it's all included in the fixed written price.
Should I repair my flat roof or replace it?
If the roof is basically sound we'll repair the specific fault. If it's had repeated patching or is past its life, we'll tell you honestly that a new GRP roof is the better spend.
